Wow! I am sadly not surprised. I was a Captain in the Persian Gulf War and involved with the setup of field medical facilities in theater for the USMC. The "state of the art medical supplies" on the prepositioned support ships revealed Vietnam era equipment when received in Saudi Arabia. Woefully outdated yet top dollar had been paid to contractors?! Whistleblowers were treated badly and so it goes on. Thank you for sharing the full picture on HBOT. I hope these criminals get what they deserve.

Cpt. Jones - Thank you for your service and for reading this stack! The anthrax vaccine debacle in the Army is another horror story that has a similar pattern to HBOT. I'm sure that if I dug deeper, there would be more to tell about how HBOT is knee-capped by our federal government.

We administered Anthrax V in theater at the height of operations in the Persian Gulf. My husband was flight downed for days because of side effects. They minimized the reporting of this while having us all take Ciprofloxacin and other drugs prophylactically for months. Gulf War syndrome anyone?!

Rule 1 in adverse event (AE) reporting for drug manufacturers - if you don't report it, it never happened. The criteria for reporting AEs is almost always set so that the reportable events are just outside the window of time that THEY set. Add in the interpretation of a doctor (which will require lots more time and paperwork to properly document) and you get human nature helping you.

Cipro has its own side effects with long-term use, too. GWS indeed. It's almost like the AIDS playbook. These people really stick to a script.

What an insightful deep dive, Xavier. Thank you. Same old despicable playbook that enriches the immoral greedy people while continuing or causing the suffering of so many of their fellow humans. 😠

Lisa, thanks for reading! Yes, same playbook. When egos and money get involved, it is a recipe for misery.
